Hello Aberdeen / Matawan Township. Welcome to our candy shop. We hope that this will become your candy shop too. We are Valerie and Bryan Ponemon. We are your neighbor, friends, and fellow parents of this town. We are two people, like many, that have to balance out life by working full time jobs, maintaining a home, and being a Mom and Dad to three kids. The idea of opening this shop started as a vision from seeing the long vacant store front, that we now call home. It developed through the thoughts of the family during dinners. It became more of a reality when our eldest child struggled to find work like many of her friends. We wanted to provide opportunities for our children, and other kids in the neighborhood as well. Our shop is as “Mom and Pop” as it comes. From the idea, development, physical build, and running of the shop, we have had our hands in it. We are proud of what we as a family have accomplished. Come in and be a “kid in a candy store”, no matter your age. Our mission is to bring some sweet joyful moments to you...our friends, neighbors, and FAMILY!
